Detox purpose

This detox program has a list of foods to avoid and foods to include for a time frame of 7 days. The purpose of this detox is to support the body to neutralize and eliminate toxins through the major organs of your body. The results are increased vitality and stronger digestion.

In the first few days, symptoms including headaches, or a rapid change in bowel movements, may occur due to the sudden withdrawal of certain foods. This is normal and is your body’s way of processing and eliminating the toxins. Should you experience any severe side effects, consult your medical practitioner.

Apple cider vinegar recipe for detox

Ingredients –

  • 2 tbsp organic apple cider vinegar
  • Half lemon
  • 1 tbsp raw honey (I use manuka honey from New Zealand for its immune enhancing effects)
  • Pinch ground cinnamon (or more if you enjoy the aromatic flavor)
  • The glass of water (can be hot or cool depending on taste preference)

Method –

Mix together the vinegar, a good squeeze of lemon, the honey and a shake of cinnamon. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

This drink can be enjoyed hot or cold and is a great way to start your day with a kick. For a healthy, balanced pH, raw apple cider vinegar is one of the best things to add to your diet.
